Метод активации обновления Speedy Trial разработчики включили в релиз Bitcoin Core 0.21.1, который состоялся 2 мая.
❗️Механизм подразумевает трехмесячное окно, в течение которого в любой из приблизительно двухнедельных периодов между перерасчетами сложности 90% добытых блоков должны сигнализировать о поддержке обновления.
Это будет означать, что приблизительно 90% майнеров согласны принять новые правила. При достижении необходимого порога Taproot активируют в течение следующих трех месяцев. До этого обновление останется заблокированным.

✅The phased update will allow avoiding the situation that arose during the SegWit update, which led not only to the chain split and the emergence of the Bitcoin Cash fork, but also to a significant delay in the actual implementation of the code by the network nodes.
The Taproot code is already included in the Bitcoin Core 0.21.1 client. At the second stage, the miners who have voted will have to start updating the nodes to this version. The soft fork will be launched by developers in November, subject to the introduction of a new client by 90%.
